Huh Jung-moo's second spell as full-time manager of the Korean national team got off to a losing start as his experimental side went down to a Gonzalo Fierro at the Seoul World Cup stadium.
The only goal of the match came ten minutes into the second half. A through ball from Fernando Meneses found Gonzalo Fierro and the Colo-Colo forward blasted the ball past substitute goalkeeper Jung Sung-ryong for his first goal for the Chilean national team.
Korea's inability to score against the South Americans means that the top team have now gone 506 minutes since last scoring, a run they will look to bring to an end next Wednesday at the same venue when they face Turkmenistan in the opening match of their 2010 World Cup qualifying group.
