Daejeon Hydro & Nuclear Power picked up their first piece of silverware at K2 level as they defeated Ansan Halellujah on penalties to claim the National League Cup trophy in Yangju.

Park Han-woon had given Hallelujah the lead in the 29th minute, and Oh Ki-jae doubled the advantage in the 53rd. Park Young-keun pulled one back for Daejeon in the 75th minute, and deep into injury time at the end of the game Kim Suk-man found an equaliser.

Daejeon went ahead for the first time in the match eight minutes into extra time through Lee Su-min, but Lee Sung-kil's equaliser on the stroke of half-time in extra time ensured the game went to penalties.

Hallelujah failed to hit the mark with all three of their penalties, and Daejeon converted their three efforts to pick up the trophy.
