South Korea cruised to a comfortable 4-1 victory over the United Arab Emirates in Seoul on Wednesday night to pick up their first win in Group 2 of the final round of the World Cup qualifiers.
Daegu's Lee Keun-ho opened the scoring for Huh Jung-moo's side in the 19th minute, and then Manchester United star Park Ji-sung doubled the advantage after 25 minutes. Although Ismail Al Hammadi pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 71st minute, Lee added his second and Korea's third in the 79th and Kwak Tae-hwi rounded off what turned out to be a comfortable scoreline with the fourth goal two minutes from time.
