Park Sung-hwa has confirmed the final selection for the South Korean Olympic football squad, with eighteen names penned in to make the trip to Beijing.
Two wildcard players have been included in the squad of under-23 internationals, with Zenit St. Petersburg's Kim Dong-jin and Seongnam Ilhwa's Kim Jung-woo the overage players selected.
The national Olympic team began training at the Paju National Football Centre, and will meet the Ivory Coast on Sunday July 27th in Suwon before facing Australia in Seoul on July 31st in two pre-tournament warm-up matches, before departing for Beijing on August 3rd.
Korea's first group match is on August 7th against Cameroon, and they then face Italy on August 10th. The final group match, against Honduras, will take place on August 13th.
Honduras will face K-League side Incheon United in a pre-tournament friendly at the Incheon Munhak stadium on Friday July 25th.
