Suwon Samsung Bluewings enjoyed a second 2-0 victory over FC Seoul in the space of ten days as a Shin Young-rok double gave Cha Bum-keun's side the points in Sunday's K-League encounter.
Under pressure for most of the first half, Suwon weathered the storm and youngster Shin struck first in the 51st minute and then again in the 62nd to claim an important victory.
Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma stayed hard on Suwon's heels with a 2-0 victory in Incheon. Brazilian duo Mota and Dudu were the goal heroes for the Chunma as they overpowered the rejuvenated home side.
Champions Pohang could only manage a goalless home draw with Daejeon, whilst Jeju and Busan, and Ulsan and Gwangju, shared the spoils with 1-1 draws.
Lee Keun-ho was on target for Daegu in their 3-0 win away at Jeonbuk and a Yoo Hong-yeol goal for Chunnam gave Park Hang-seo victory over his former side Gyeongnam FC.
