Founded in the South Gyeongsang province and based in the city of Changwon, Gyeongnam FC enjoyed a fine campaign in 2007 finishing fourth overall and qualifying for the post-season playoffs with ease. The departure of manager Park Hang-seo immediately after the end of the season was a blow, and former Anyang boss Jo Kwang-rae has been charged with the task of building upon that achievement in 2008. |
