The 2009 season

Unlike the first two seasons of the K3 League which operated on a two stage basis, the 2009 season will be a regular league season with each team playing each other twice for a total of thirty matches. The team at the top of the standings at the end of the season will be crowned champions.

Although final confirmation has still to be announced, the top sides in the K3 will qualify for the 2010 Korean FA Cup competition.
